Comfort is a switch, the sockets are too close together to be able to connect 3 or more adapter plugs. It was larger than I expected, it looks smaller in the picture than it actually is and it didn't have a flat bottom but instead had two mounting rails for surface mounting. It can and will stay on the carpet and I would recommend putting something over it (e.g. silicone patches, felt patches) or under it e.g. B. a pad to protect the floor from scratches of any kind. Overall the product offers a nice 6ft chord so when combined with a switch it doesn't have to sit under something like a table if the wall outlet is 6ft or less to allow for the play needed for its intended use. (For example, if you plan to install it two feet off the floor and 1/2 feet below furniture, make sure the wall outlet is no more than 3 1/2 feet from the installation location.)
