These bright wall lights make great task lighting in my workshop and don't take up much space. I had a work area that needed extra lighting and they do a really great job. I replaced the soft bulbs with fluorescent bulbs because I needed pure color. Make sure you replace them before you hang up your lamps because replacing those bulbs is a real challenge. You can't put your fingers in to grab the bulb and flip it. I had to insert the bulb and then use a stick with double sided tape on the end to hold the two small pins in place before twisting. This was definitely an issue, pointing to the poor design of these lights. I should also mention that the cables are shorter than expected. Suspended at eye level, they barely reach the outlet.
