does the job. The female end is tighter than it needs to be.

Serves its purpose. My only criticism is that the female end is tighter than it should be. I use this adapter occasionally with a Revain FireStick and am concerned that it may damage the FireStick as I have to pull hard to disconnect it. Note that I only bought one of these so I don't know if they are all like this or if I just have an unusually tight fit. Your experience may vary.
