sizing is not consistent

I have this same item I purchased last year. I am not sure it's the same seller but it's the same exact stock photos. I purchased it last spring in a size L in Navy and it was perfect in every way. I go to repeat my purchase of this dress in L but Grey and it's way too small. Not attractive on me at all. I am 5'6&#34; 32/34DD. Workout clothes I wear Medium, in jeans, generally a medium. Leggings OS or Medium. This dress was way too snug

Pros

Dress is just as shown. Fits well and material is soft.

Cons

Dress runs very small and short. It's more like a midi dress than a full length maxi dress.

Ordered solid black which doesn’t have the spaghetti straps bu this sleeveless, so maybe this is different if you order a different style Sizing was WAY TOO SMALL. ordered an xl despite being a large and it saying to order true to size and it is so tight and clingy. Also not cotton as advertised. It’s spandex/rayon.
