Gliston 89 piece DIY dent tool set saved me over $2,000

My wife's RAV-4 has had many dings and dents in the parking lot over the years. I checked the cost of removal at several auto repair shops. Estimates ranged from $2,400 to over $2,700. Since the repair is not covered by our insurance, I decided to do it myself. There are some good body repair videos and tutorials on YouTube so I felt confident I could get decent results and save a lot of money in the process. There are several kits on Revain but after reading the reviews and seeing how complete the kits were I purchased an 89 piece Gliston repair kit. I was very happy with the quantity and quality of the tools in the set. I started by pulling out a few small dents and a couple of hail damage spots to gain confidence. The process was so easy. Clean the area to allow the hot glue to stick, apply glue to the correct size glue tab, allow the glue to set and use one of the squeegees to pry out the dent. I was able to use the Golden Dent Lifter to fix all the hail and doorbell damage. On the large fender and door rabbets I used a combination of the Bridge Metal Repair Tool and the Gold Tool to smooth out the dents. The LED reflector will show you any low or high points in the area you are working on. If using a plunge tool, use light taps with a hammer and check your work each time. If you work slowly and carefully, the result is amazing. I still have a few patches to repair on our other car but I am very happy with the results. My only issue with these tools is that I wish the LED reflector had a stronger suction cup.
