There are things that are wonderful about this scale. It's very accurate, easy to erase, easy to use, the numbers on the display are a good size so easy to read, the display stays on for about a minute so you don't have to worry about it going blank it's about time. That being said, the weights definitely have a downside. If you place a wide-rimmed dinner plate or bowl on the scale, you will not see the display. This is very annoying. I want to be able to put my plate on the scale and separate my food without spoiling other dishes. My smaller salad plate also covers the entire display because I have wide plate edges. It's my own fault for not thinking about this issue before buying the scale, so I'm writing about it here. Honestly, these scales are good in many ways. You just have to figure out what you're going to use it for and decide if it's right for your needs.
