Appearance and finishes are fine. The 9 o'clock alignment tab is plastic and does not fit properly into the existing hole in the case metal. I had to snap it off to fit. The instructions are rudimentary, Youtube helps with this. Still spins a bit if you put in some effort. Seems comfortable enough to hold his position as long as nobody messes with him. The time will show. Installation = Remove the rear light (light does not need to be turned off, just leave it hanging). Press on the 2 securing clips holding the factory fuel cap (you can use a screwdriver or a flat head screwdriver). I've found it easier to remove if you press on the OEM rubber grommet on the back. Remove the gas cap and cable from the original assembly. Install a new rubber gasket on the new assembly before installation. Slide the assembly onto the fuel tank spout in the correct orientation (a flat head screwdriver may be needed to secure the gasket around the spout). Push until all 4 latches snap into place.
