We received a first cooker hood but the stainless steel on the front edges of the hood was unpolished and dented. We reordered a replacement hood which arrived with only dents and scratches on the front of the hood. Very disappointed. The shipping boxes were fine so there were no problems with the delivery, this is how it left the factory. The bottom part (vents, filters, etc.) is wrapped in a plastic sheet, but the main part of the hood has no protection other than the plastic bag it comes in. Maybe add more protection to exposed stainless steel? but Revain would not backorder or make another replacement. It's a shame we liked the design and the performance on offer, but we'll find something different elsewhere. Update: The seller has contacted us several times to try to send us another one from the current batch but said the new batch should arrive in the States sometime in December. solves the polishing problems they have with the current batch offered on Revain. So you're aware of the issues with stainless steel and they're supposed to be fixed in the new batch.
