These wired headphones excel. They represent exceptional value for money. The sound quality is the same if not better than the headphones I bought for around $150. However, the reason I bought them was because of the armored wires. All of my previous headphones went in the trash because they had shorts or broken wires where a two headphone cord splits in two. These headphones are well amplified along all wires. Shortly after buying it, I took it with me on a trip to Portugal. They were comfortable for an 8 hour flight and worked well in the inflight entertainment system (unlike the airline-supplied headphones). I listen to them most often on my iPod and find the stereo separation excellent. I can only recommend these headphones and will buy another pair.
