It seems to work correctly. I was able to locate the R410a leak and adjust the sensitivity to narrow it down. The flexible shaft is useful but has become detached from the base. I had to put it back in place and I used duct tape to make sure it doesn't happen again. This is very low quality, but it worked fine for some basic testing. I used to have a much more professional sensor that worked for years, but the sensor wore out over time and I couldn't find a replacement sensor head. This also wears out, but is cheaper to buy than replacing the sensor tip.
