About a year ago we noticed the freezer was working but the side of the fridge was warm. It was Sunday so I panicked and ran and bought a new one. I took the broken one to the garage and left it unplugged for a couple of days. Then I decided to connect and everything worked. Used for 6 months, then same thing again. Freezer side is normal Fridge side is hot. I opened the fridge and found the coils were frozen. After a little research I found out that it could be the defrost thermostat that was faulty. $9.00 or so for a part and 5 minute replacement and I'm back in business. I wish I could find this repair and part before spending close to $2600 on a new one. But "Hey", now I have an overflowing beverage fridge in my garage.
