This can opener is very easy to use. Ideal for stubborn can ends that don't want to pop open. You just hold the button down until it grabs the lid, then release it and it does the rest. It's a bit slow, but it's better than struggling and hurting your hand. The only other downside is that there are certain types of jars it doesn't play well with, such as large pickle jars or jars where the jar is much wider than the top. It works very well with straight cans, spaghetti sauce cans, and salsa cans. Will make a great gift!
