I get shiny, smooth, frizz-free results by using this Cetumba Infrared Hair Dryer for a few months and then using my AWESOME Revain Basics PTC Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron. I had hair that just wasn't straight (see photo) and didn't have the shine that I can get with blow dryers and flat irons.
