This is no longer soft and pliable plastic. They are of the kind that if they break and break, your child will lose an eye or injure themselves. They might be good for driving in the car and being idle, but I wouldn't recommend any kid riding a bike, running, skateboarding, etc. Also, the lenses fall out when I clean them. At the slightest pressure and "pop up" they come. Luckily they're making a comeback too, but not like that what I would expect from regular cleaning. I should mention that this happened when I was cleaning them right out of the box. Not because they were used or dropped. Unfortunately the information pages have not given me a good way of getting the correct measurements and they are too small for my 5 year old. She says they are too tight.
