This is a set for those who want to make something simple and easy with their own hands. In that regard it ticks all the right boxes and comes with everything you need including a hole saw for a drill and fishing poles for running wires through the wall. The power cord that connects the outlets has the correct cord to comply with electrical codes, so you don't have to unplug one outlet to install another (although essentially you do it in an easier way with a kit). A few things to check BEFORE you start: 1. The position of the studs and fire blocks (horizontal studs) which can prevent the cable from being routed through the wall2. Insulation in the wall for the same reason. This part was the hardest part for me because the power cord has a huge plug that cannot be unplugged. This is not the same as pulling a Romex or one-piece cable. Drill a smaller hole before using the hole saw and insert the end of a hanger or wire if you like. Position or at least draw the position of the grommets in relation to the TV mounting bracket. The bigger your TV, the more space you have to choose to hide it. In the end I just pushed the cable grommet through the bracket. If you don't have any obstacles, it's pretty easy to install. The hole saw is disposable but perfectly sized for grommets. Much easier than cutting a square box to size with a hacksaw. I am using 2 HDMI cables, a Category 6 Ethernet cable and TOSLINK. If you have a lot of cables, you will need one of the two large 2-way box sets. This is a pretty flat kit. In the end it looks great and easy. However, I can't help but think it's basically 2 sockets and 6ft of Romex wire, and am deducting a star for that. You're paying for the convenience, I understand that. The little grommets to hold them to the wall, however, are cheaper and thinner than the old 79-cent work boxes you get at Lowes. If you ever have to remove the grommet to add another cable (and you will because it's almost impossible to fish while it's in place), the fenders are sure to snap. For me it doesn't really matter because it's already hidden behind the TV or media cabinet. There are cheaper ways to complete this project using a more traditional electrical setup, but this kit is definitely easier and quicker!
