No matter which blade I use, every blade is very sharp. The holder itself is very comfortable to hold. I've found that when working on larger projects I tend to use a knife with a larger handle. Not just because it's bigger, but also because it's much more comfortable to hold. Also, when working on larger projects, the pen allows me to press harder without hurting myself. When it comes to smaller projects, regular pens work well. I do a lot of resin projects with a bit of leather, but no matter what material I use, these knives cut almost anything with no problem. There are even times when I don't have to press down on the material as hard to get these knives to cut. The best thing about this set is that it comes with a box that keeps everything in place. No matter how far it travels, the extra knives are held in place with a magnet that also ensures they don't fall off.
