Reliable G-Shock watch. I've always wanted a G-Shock with a "square" design, but others just seem too flimsy to me. So this model was the answer. In addition, the presence of a solar panel was a big plus. I really like the design and the look of this particular model. I don't have a tarnish problem like others. Even after a hot shower, diving under water and even using it in the hot sun. I think they must have fixed it. It might have been a bad QC batch. Anyway, this watch is great, works well and looks good. The negative display is a bit difficult to read in very low light. As long as you have decent light, like overhead lights or the sun, it's readable. For around $100, this is a great solid watch with all the standard G-Shock features. It's quite big, but personally it's not as big as I expected. I would highly recommend this watch if you are looking for a watch that tells the time well, requires no maintenance and is looking for something durable and cheap. Excellent purchase.
