Good fit, easy to install and remove, hygienic. Each bag has an elastic band around the edge and is packed 5 per box, compared to boxes of 10 strainers also offered by Alfapet but attached to the litter box with a large elastic band; they are cumbersome to install. Disadvantages of self-installing bags: You won't find them in stores anymore, so you have to order them online. They are very expensive: about three times the cost per insert compared to the same number of bags (10 strainer inserts purchased at Wal-Mart from the same company). They also seem to be a bit slower when viewing content. I bought a few boxes of self installing litter to use for other people who need to change litter while I'm away.
