Review on Warmth, Style, and Functionality: HINDAWI Women Winter Knit Hat with Visor by Jeremy Black

I'm not good at judging hats by looks alone but I needed the brim so I figured to avoid the risk of buying online to minimize Better use other people's reviews to balance this out. I stayed with hats with many reviews and after so much praise here I was optimistic but when I received my hat in the mail I felt betrayed and confused. Mine isn't nearly as good as the picture shows. It arrived in poor condition and fell short of expectations in almost every way. The soft inner fabric is the only plus I've found and it fits well on my list of cons as the lack of other pluses tops it. but I was still hoping that I could show a well detailed hat, like the photos, underneath the fluffy fabric (<ba dum tss>). However, not all of these were removable, and some were simply due to poor knit quality and fabric tension. The braided accents across the edges and top are not as neat and round as in the photos, but very flat and messy. It looks so unkempt I would assume it has been worn for ages. It came out of plain clear plastic with no tags so I just have to trust that it hasn't been used. The brim has plastic on the inside so it relatively holds its shape, but it feels cheap and unreliable and the knit already feels stretched in the front. It's stretched along the edge, with large gaps exposing the underlying plastic. She doesn't look solid. Although I was looking for a roomier fit, this hat is too big for my normal head size. The rubber band is weak, so that doesn't help either. It keeps slipping across my eyes and I don't understand how it fits most heads. I think people with medium sized heads would need very thick hair for this to work. The poor fit makes it hard to judge how flattering this is as my vision fades after a few seconds, but it seems ugly to lie on and always look awkward. If I saw it in a store, I would immediately convey the dirty and inferior look, and even if it looked nice, it would still be too big. I'm honestly amazed how it got so many good reviews, unless mine was just a failure or the navy are in some way inferior to the others. I'm not happy with mine at all as it's not even close to worth the price.
