Perfect fit for my application

I built a barn door at the top of my deck steps so our dog wouldn't run away when we were on deck with her. It is held closed with a magnet. At first I used a magnetic closet latch, but this rusted and lost its magnetism after a month. I was looking for an anti-rust bar and couldn't find it. Found this article. It's a little over a quarter. Assembly was not possible, so both sides were on top of each other due to the configuration of the gate. One side is about 1/4 inch larger than the other side but still has plenty of magnetic holding power. I really have to pull the gate to open it. Perfect solution.
