Although I rated 4 stars I love these sand socks overall! They kept my feet from getting burned and blistered walking on the beach sand and kept most of the sand from getting on my feet and between my toes. However, a small amount of sand got into the socks, which is the reason for the 4-star rating. It could be because I was on a beach with very fine, baby-like, soft sand - Destin Beaches. However, I will always use them when I'm at the beach and won't hesitate to buy another pair in the hope that some sand will probably seep through my socks.
