Review on ๐Ÿœ Rapid Mac Cooker: Microwave Macaroni & Cheese in 5 Minutes for Dorms, Small Kitchens or Offices - Dishwasher Safe, Microwaveable, BPA-Free, Black by Ryan Gillett

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Try it out a few times first.

Note: One of the photos of this product shows TWO ovens. (at least at the time of review, even in the photo in the status of my order there were two plates) and only one came. Seems too expensive for just one. I got two ramen plates here on Amazon for almost half the price. Order in the photo: you should first prepare before adding water and a nuclear bomb. Second, water is added for the first 2 minutes 30 seconds of the atomic bomb. Then the 3rd frame should be the POST 2m30s Nuke if I mixed it as directed. 4th photo AFTER the second shelling within 2 minutes. Sheet. The last photo shows the finished product on the first try. At least it tastes better than it looks. but still a bit too chewy, so next time I'll sniff a little longer, or at least let the first nuke sit longer, or let it sit a little longer before the second nuke. My first attempt failed. (will add pics soon) Can't promise it's not my fault as I didn't follow the instructions exactly. I put cold water in the tap as instructed. but then I stirred the noodles a bit. After that, I noticed the water was SUPER cloudy, so I drained it and put cold water back in the line. The first bombing at 2:30 went well. Pulled out the tub, mixed thoroughly and broken up EVERY sticky clump of noodles. Carefully place the tub back into the microwave and let sit for 2 hours. When I opened the microwave again it was dirty. Not only did it bubble (although I added EXACTLY the amount of water specified), but the water bubbled AND brought with it very nasty mucus (I'm guessing it's because of the "starch" pasta dust they use for raw food). . noodles) And even after that I kept trying! I added melted butter and "cheese" powder, then milk and stirred. It looked disgusting. BUT over time it began to resemble macaroni and cheese! Unfortunately I end up feeling like I probably won't be using it unless I'm craving Mac n Chz and want it to be faster. In this case I have to soak or turn on the bathtub of something to catch a leak. But for better flavor/texture I'll probably stick with the 20 minute method. TL;DR? - Advantages: fast. Light. Cons: Requires individual time/water setting depending on you and your microwave. This is a great product for NON-PROFITERS who just want food in it asap and aren't overly sensitive to perfect texture etc.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Not all will fit
