This bracket could not be mounted. The thread for attaching the side brackets is too small to be attached with the screws provided. The first screw broke but I couldn't tighten it. Tried other holes and screws and found the fit was just as tight. So it's a systemic problem. This goes straight back to Revain. Update 12/17/19: A second mount arrived and had the same issue. To convince myself that PEBCAK wasn't the problem, I had a 30-minute conversation with StarTech's Brandon, who seemed unaware of the problem. Mount ratings tend to be high, so I suspect the issue is due to a recent design change or quality control issue. I was hoping that tech support could exchange the product for a known good mount, but no such luck. Instead, the issue has been escalated to the product manager and I can't wait to hear the response. Since the brace is generally strong and I like them, I went to the hardware store and bought #8 machine screws with washers and nuts to work around the bad threads. (I tried several English and metric screws but none fit, confirming my suspicion that the threads were bad.) It cost another $6, but it fixed the problem. I'm leaving my rating at 1 star because when I'm paying $40 for a piece of metal, I expect perfection. !
