Rubber is very thin and doesn't hold its texture well. As well as being a fairly cheap material, rubber isn't abrasion resistant, and when it's sitting on the bottom of your purse you expect it to be able to take a beating. If you buy them, make sure you get them a dark color so dirt and scuffs are less noticeable. These little rubber wallets are also overpriced for what you actually get.
