This is overall a good cover but has its issues. The ability to warm the pool is good with this cover but won’t make it that much hotter. Even on our cooler summer nights it wouldn’t make up for the lack of night temperatures. But would make it warmer than without one so if you need slight warming go for it but Ohio summer in the valleys with shorter sun periods you’re not going to get it. The cover has a tendency to gather water on top and sink about 4-6” making it cumbersome and heavy to remove off a 24’ diameter pool. The hotter days of left on will start algae growth very quickly even when chemicals are spot on. I believe this has to do with the warm water evaporates and gathers on the air pockets and sun shining through it. The water I mentioned that accumulates on top the cover doesn’t get circulated and filtered so when you remove the cover this gets dumped into the pool. So I fought a lot of algae this year but had a warmer pool. Trade one issue for another but I found fighting algae but having a few more temperature bareable days was worth the fight.
