I bought this stand to work with two 27" monitors. One of the monitors was VESA compliant and had mounting holes on the back. Judging by the reviews, quite a few have People have received poorly assembled equipment, but mine was a first class construction with good welds, solid assembly and clean paint/coating.Assembly was very easy.Remember this works on a two person jig!Place the monitors on and set everything, don't try to do this alone, I suppose you could do it on your own, but why riskie do you rent expensive monitors? I don't really know how to adjust the height without a second pair of hands. If you use common sense and install your monitors close enough to the stand's balance point, it will be very strong and stable. If you have a rickety desk or a table that you move a lot, if you have cats that get up on your desk, or small children that could crash into your desk then this is NOT for you and your monitors will end up turned on the ground. Personally, I built a solid table into the wall, which is great.
