did not work - kitchen & bathroom lights

Black rubber - hairline in outer diameter and "tapered" when the fitting begins to press. The silicone ones appear to be the correct outside diameter but are too slippery and slide all the way into the fitting when tightened. And no, I'm not overwhelmed.
