I'm done buying Meriwool. They're slightly cheaper than the merino wool competition, but you pay for it with the inevitable HOLES that quickly develop no matter how gently you treat, hand-wash, and store the items (to avoid moths). I've now had all THREE of their products develop holes: this beanie (after maybe 5 wears on runs w/no washing), as well as two half-zip baselayer tops, the 1st of which was itself a warranty replacement for premature holes!By comparison, my Smartwool baselayers of the same thickness still have not developed any holes. Pay a little more for quality.
