I have a nylon string guitar and bought a KNA NG-1 Acoustic Bridge pickup to play through the amp. Nothing heavy, not for concerts, street performances or church services - just for fun. The 1/8" male to 1/4" male cable that the cartridge comes with is strong and quite long BUT it has to be repeatedly removed and reinserted into the cartridge unless I would like the cord to be folded and tied somehow. on my guitar. I felt this might weaken or damage the pickup, not to mention make it look stupid. So I bought this 10" 1/8" male to 1/4" female adapter and adjusted it so I could leave it plugged in. Leave it on the guitar so it doesn't stress the pickup, but it does is easy to remove or replace if needed AND use a regular 1/4 male to 1/4 male guitar cable as a bonus Please see my review of the KNA NG-1 Acoustic Pickup for photos and details on how I adjusted it. The 1/8" pin on this 10" cable slides easily into the pickup with a distinctive click. The connection is very good, no static electricity, no brrrupppps when moving This is a simple and inexpensive solution that should extend the life of my guitar's pickup and make using it with an amp a simple exercise.
