I bought this for a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. After accidentally detaching the key from the fob a couple of times due to a stupid design, I was only given it for the purpose of not letting it fall apart too easily. For that it works great. I didn't use the clip that came with it. Instead, I just attached it directly to the keychain. Of course, it will be difficult to tell if and when I need a mechanical key, but I'd rather that than finding the key fob came loose and have no idea where it fell.
