Five stars for thermometer and timer

Amazing! I use it for every yoga class and I love that it has sound, vibration and light. and then you can combine as you like. MARVELOUS! This little thing saves our house every day! My husband makes all the iced tea (we make A LOT) and he makes it from scratch - boils water, drops tea bags, waits, waits, waits - you know. So he knows how to boil water and then he sits down at the computer, or he's interested in a TV show or PROTEIN! (Haha - did you see "UP"?). Enough. Goodbye water, smell it, what's that strange smell? So I bought him this timer and it's his new favorite toy. Open the back cover (you need to press VERY firmly where the arrow on the battery compartment is pointing), remove the protective cover from the batteries. replace door. That's all. Roll onto your back. See the little sliders in all four corners? Press the top two and the bottom left to the ON or up position. The bottom right shows hours/minutes or minutes/seconds, which is how you'll count most of the time. We have minutes/seconds. Now turn around. The top left round button is HOURS, the top right button is MINUTES - this is the case if you have selected the HOUR/MINUTES function on the back. Otherwise, the upper left corner is MINUTES and the upper right corner is SECONDS. Set the timer by pressing the appropriate buttons. Then look at the oblong button below - it's a simple START/STOP. Press start. one way If my husband leaves this thing on our kitchen table, he can hear it from two rooms down in his office - from the central air conditioning running, from the television. I've seen some other people complain that it's not that loud. Leaving it on a soft surface might not, but that's easy to change. It also comes with a handy clip so you can clip it to your shirt if you're so worried you can't hear it. We love it for its many uses. Absolutely worth your money!
