Goes well with my 01 RAM (petrol). The cap does not differ much from the original, the insert of the lock with the key is made of metal, and the rest, of course, is plastic. It is almost identical to the original. So far the keying seems to be working fine (time will tell) as some of them are poorly made and falling apart. I haven't had it long enough to judge its durability, but with gas prices rising and thefts on the rise, having this thing might help keep a loser from siphoning off my precious fuel. Pretty soon, this lid will cost less than a gallon, so it's up to you to decide if it's worth it or not.
