Review on 🚽 Campbell Quiet Sewage B 0823 20C Accessories Supply by James Townsend

Used in a basement pit with crusher pump. Before installing, my pump ran for a long time (usually it only runs 5-10 seconds at a time to empty the sump). I wasn't sure if it was a) a bad pump, b) a bad check valve (my original valve wasn't "clear"), or c) my pipe was clogged somewhere. It turned out to be my old check valve. Valve, that was bad. Installation was easy (just cut and glue PVC) and it comes with PVC nozzles that you can use to unscrew the valve if needed. This can come in handy if I ever need to replace it - I can just screw in another without cutting or gluing. If I have problems in the future, the water flow indicator will let me know if the water is flowing to help diagnose. No more water hammer, when it turns off you don't hear it at all. Why didn't I buy this many years ago? I've had it installed for about a month so I can't comment on its durability yet, but I see no reason why it shouldn't last. Completely satisfied. UPDATE - 15 months later and working great. It's one of those things that you "enjoy" every time it works. Sounds silly for a check valve, but it's quiet and works so well. If you need a valve, you have to buy it. I paid full price for mine and have nothing to do with the manufacturer!
