I bought a tire compressor for my scooter. I used two AC/DC adapters as I didn't have a car to use the cigarette lighter socket in. The first one I had didn't even make a sound. Second, the display lit up, but that just made my device buzz. I checked amps and voltage but after some research I finally realized it all boils down to watts. So I read various reviews and saw that my AC/DC adapter runs at 115W. Now that I understood what my problem was, I knew what to look for. I saw this one sold by PI Stores and it goes up to 120w so I was hopeful. It worked great! I am very satisfied and can finally use my cigarette lighter. It came packaged and way too fast! Don't waste your time with other adapters if you have a good cigarette lighter socket. It's not worth the disappointment!
