I bought this to charge multiple systems at the same time. Mainly my PSP and 3DS (which have their own chargers) and my DS Lite (which doesn't have a charger). I went to charge and took a photo above. Notice the DS Lite on the right; When charging on the other side, the orange indicator, which is not shown in the photo, lights up. The device is charged with a brief burst of electricity, but then also stops charging after a second. No light means that charging is not in progress. As you can see on the 3DS and PSP, the loading indicators are visible. I don't use the Wii U outside of the house, but the fact that it won't charge my DS Lite (the MAJOR reason I bought it) makes me very frustrated.
