This basket is the perfect size for grilling shrimp, vegetables, sliced potatoes or any food that may fall through your grill grate. I think it's really good that the side walls are high enough so that the food doesn't fall out of the basket when you stir it. The basket is easy to clean and holds up well in the grill. The handles are also a nice feature so you can grab something without touching the food with your hands. The basket is very durable, so unlike those crappy wire baskets. Some of the complaints I noted here before I bought it seem to be related to the lack of user service and knowledge. Of course it will get darker as you use it. They expose steel to flame and heat. It's easy to wash if you do it before food hardens on it. I sprayed the basket with some spray before putting it on the grill and it worked great. You must use potholders on the handles. The metal is heated (hot) on the grill! I love the basket and will definitely buy another one. I leave 5 stars for products that just surprise me. I can't find anything wrong with this basket, it's just a metal basket of good quality and design.
