I only used this charger for a few months before the 'flexible' part broke the wires inside. It took me a while to figure out why it wasn't working, but I noticed it stopped working when my phone was turned off and the cord was red hot, like combustible heat. In general, the cable was decent while it lasted, but not for long. I assure you that I have used it as usual and have never stressed the part where it broke. Generally do not buy.
