Review on Red Audio-Technica ATH-LS50iSRD In-Ear Monitor Headphones: Enhanced with Mic & Control by Justin Gomez

These are my first pair of in-ear headphones and while I like Audio Technica as a brand (I've had several of their products and bought them to replace another pair of their headphones), I had problems with them. As far as comfort goes, they took a little getting used to. My more traditional hanging pads (also from AT) were more comfortable while tending to slip out more often. The rubber pads covering the speaker look a little different and/or maybe my old ones were just broken (same size). Also, cable noise was a bigger issue than I expected considering it's hanging over the ear. I would have thought this would eliminate more noise than it actually does. The final straw was the formation of a crack in one of the wires connecting the earpiece. Again, the sound quality is pretty good. But they were more expensive than my old pair, and despite the improved sound, I found them less comfortable to use.
