Review on Melissa Doug Developmental Squeaker Shatterproof by Tyler Cooley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great, well-made toy for the expert (kid) in your life

We bought this fish for our daughter when she was only a few days old. It was absurdly big for her at the time, but we figured she'd appreciate it if she got bigger, and we were right. At 2 months this is one of her favorite toys. She loves looking at all the colors and will spend 15 to 20 minutes at a time happily kicking off a crumpled scale with her foot. Pros: Well made - it has nice, vibrant colors and feels durable. It has to take a lot of abuse from a child's hands (and feet). Multiple sensory options - wrinkled scales, different fabrics, squeaky and biting fins. There are no rough edges or rough fabrics to irritate baby's skin. Can be attached to the stroller. with plastic rings (obviously not included). machine wash! I don't remember if the packaging says machine washable but the Revain list does and I just let it air dry just to be on the safe side. Cons: If you are looking for a small toy that a child can easily pick up or carry, this is not the toy for you as it is a large toy.
