I bought thermal pajamas and these cycling shorts for my daughter. She wears thermal underwear almost every day, either alone on warmer nights or under a pair of fleece pajamas on the coldest nights, which means they wash 4-5 times a week and hold up great. I liked them so much that I decided to buy these cycling shorts to wear under a loose dress and use as a diaper. They're tight, like biker shorts, so keep that in mind, but they're good quality and did the job. I will most likely return to City Threads when she needs her next size up.
