I love these socks. My feet are always cold in the winter time unless I wear a pair of heavy socks. I got these instead and my feet have been warm ever since. They have only been washed once in cold water and dried on low heat although one buyer said she always hangs them to dry. They made it through one wash without issues! I can feel the little dots through the socks on my kitchen floor but you know, I have had worse experiences in my life, so this doesn't bother me. My feet are toasty warm and they fit fine. They are way too big for my roomie's tiny feet, though. I think she is going to have to buy from the girl's section!
