. I compared them to some of their old ones I had in my old emergency kit, I roll them into a thin tip to put the ointment in my ear. The old ones can only be felt with cotton wool, but the new ones with a stick, so I can't use them often. I've bought and tried almost every brand over the last few years and they all save on cotton even though I have a lot of cotton swabs.
