Review on 🔒 Gates 31734 Pre-Release Locking Fuel Tank Cap: Secure your fuel tank with enhanced protection by Jeff Rhodes

I used this on my 2017 Forrest River Stealth Toyhauler. I had to guess and also compare with the existing gas caps on my cars. My 1990 Chevy C1500 turns out to have the same threading, and when I put the truck's gas cap on the trailer, it matched. If the thread type fits (some gas caps have a small triangular cutout at the bottom) it will likely fit other trailers as well. I ordered this particular cap because it has a dust cap attached which I think would be useful with an open gas fill. However, I am disappointed that the dust cover is basic with no US markings as shown in the picture. This is one of the reasons I limit the number of stars. The fit is good but for now I'm only giving it three stars until I see how long it lasts.
