Surprisingly low quality control for the Metabo HPT
The Metabo HPT Skirting Insert comes with a panel that is glued in two parts on top, one glued on top of the other (see attached image). Most of it isn't even glued flush to the surface. Although other reviews mentioned poor quality control, I figured I might dodge this bullet. Not so. Metabo HPT must make management aware of this problem. The lack of attention to basic manufacturing and packaging procedures gives this otherwise fine brand a bad name, at least on that part.
