Review on 🖍️ Prang Payons Watercolor Crayons - Round Sticks, 12 Multicolored Crayons + Brush - 1 Box (34312) by Summer Hendricks

They arrived with one of 12 broken crayons. I wrote to Prang about this but never got a reply! The crayons are quite small and seem expensive for what you get ($12 for a set of 12!). Each is packaged in a cardboard sleeve, but they don't work that well if you're trying to color. They're a bit awkward to hold and if used to the box I don't know how well they'll work. The broken one doesn't stay in the sleeve, it falls out! The colors are very pretty, but locked in a dark shell, one often cannot tell exactly what the dark colors are without pronouncing them from the shell. Also, they don't seem as strong when applied with water, they don't react like watercolor paints, and they don't mix or run! Overall they are just not what I expected and I can see a few downsides: design, execution, durability, cost and most importantly the end result, not like a watercolor! But the colors are beautiful! These are my first watercolor pencils. Thank you for the opportunity to review and leave a review. Too bad it's not better!
