This worked for my 2002 Dodge Dakota. While this was a relatively easy process, it will take some time as there isn't much room for fingers and tools. Another reviewer mentioned that the rear window guide had to be removed; i support it I tried replacing it without doing it and it was almost impossible. In my case, after removing two bolts, the new lock was installed and working in about 45 minutes. The product worked for at least a couple of weeks without any problems.
