The seat is definitely more comfortable than most bike seats, although I would say it doesn't feel like you're sitting on a cloud. It is important to adjust the seat so that you are comfortable. As a male, I had to move the seat forward and tilt it down more because the crotch of the seat is designed to curve up. After a small adjustment of the seat, this problem disappeared. The taillights work perfectly, although one of the bulbs has burned out. I slipped a thin metal tool through the slot at the top of the lamp's plastic cover and managed to press the bulb into place. Batteries were already in the chair, an additional set was attached to it. ALL the tools needed for the seat were provided including Alan's excellent multi tool with some other useful tools. I would say that the whole kit exceeded my expectations and the seat looks pretty good on my bike despite being oversized.
