I've only had this belt for a few days so I can't comment on its long term quality but initial quality seems excellent. The canvas fabric is thick and looks high quality. The rings are metal and appear solid. I've had trouble wearing D-ring straps in the past because they seem to keep loosening, but so far this strap has stayed tight. I think it has to do with the design of square rings versus round rings.
