Broke first day good for meat

I bought this brand new oven thermometer as I had 11 people on Christmas Eve to buy a 10.5lb rib roast. An hour later it read 150 degrees which was WRONG. I had to buy 3 other thermometers from drug stores and they were all more accurate than this piece of crap. Thanks for nothing, OXO.
