This is sort of my 4th or 5th shaving brush since I started using shaving soap/shaving brushes. And this brush makes the best cream compared to any other brush I have ever used and gives me the best shaving experience. Due to the longer and slightly stiffer bristles, this brush creates a creamier and longer lasting shaving cream than other brushes and does it MUCH faster. This brush allows me to get a thick, rich shave cream in 15 seconds—a level of shave cream I've only been able to achieve by sweeping my wrist with other brushes for over a minute. A few words about the smell: The first smell after the shave was quite strong. Although I know it was animal musk, the smell was similar to machine oil. However, it was only strong on my first shave. My second shave had a *small* smell, but after that there was no smell at all except for the beautiful sandalwood of my shaving soap. Also, this brush gives off more shaving soap smell than any other brush I've used. All in all, I highly recommend you get this brush. I've been using it twice a week for a month and haven't had any bristles falling out and my shaving experience has greatly improved with this brush.
